QGIS Cloud makes it possible to edit geospatial data collaboratively directly from the web browser. This is especially useful when several users need to update the same dataset without installing or configuring a local QGIS project.

Sourcepole hat an der FOSSGIS 2026 in Göttingen verschiedene Themen mit Vorträgen abgedeckt:

• Datenkataloge mit STAC und OGC API Records
• Volltextsuche in Echtzeitdaten mit pg_search
• Kollaboratives GIS mit Jupyter Notebooks und JupyterGIS
• QGIS Web Client (QWC) – Neues aus dem Projekt

Nach etwa 15 Jahren Mitgliedschaft im informellen Interlis-Kernteam und zwei Jahren in der offiziellen Nachfolgegruppe SOGI GGMM, habe ich mich kürzlich aus diesem Interlis-Gremium zurückgezogen. Der Grund liegt hauptsächlich darin, dass meine Prioritäten in der Geo-Normierung in Themen liegen, die in dieser Arbeitsgruppe nur peripher abgedeckt werden. Nichts destotrotz möchte ich aus diesem Anlass meine Gedanken zur Vergangenheit und Zukunft von Interlis festhalten.

FOSS4G Europe is an annual event of free and open source geographic technologies and open geospatial data hosted by OSGeo. In 2025 it took place in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sourcepole attended this event the second time after 2015 in Como.

The QGIS Cloud Support team regularly receives inquiries describing errors when uploading data to the database from the QGIS Cloud plugin. In this short blog article, I would like to explain the cause of this problem and provide some tips for analysis.
