Survey of Webmail Interfaces

Survey of Webmail Interfaces

This is a survey of existing mail to web interfaces. It started as the ISP SPIN needed to implement such a system and had a market research done. Its initial version was done by Ruben Unteregger. All further updates were done by Tomas Pospisek. The page is occassionaly being updated especially upon peoples’ requests, but is not being maintained very actively any more. Your feedback is very appreciated. There’s a webmail evaluation at University of Pennsylvania.

Ruby Plugin for Kate

Introduction

Ruby is the interpreted scripting language for quick and easy object-oriented programming. It has many features to process text files and to do system management tasks (as in Perl). It is simple, straight-forward, extensible, and portable. This Plugin enables Kate, the KDE text editor, to run Ruby scripts.

PHP 4.0.6 Debian Packages

You can find Debian packages of PHP 4.0.6 here. They were built upon Petr Čech’s 4.0.6-4 package (it seems there was a -5 but we couldn’t find it) against the testing/woody distribution as of Thu, 14 Mar 2002 16:03:08 +0100.

The source was patched against the recent PHP exploits ( php-4.0.6-memlimit.diff.gz and rfc1867.c.diff-4.0.6.gz), had dbase included (we don’t really understand what Peter had against it’s license), was compiled against potato’s and had some dependencies updated.

Use our packages at your own risk - remember it was a “quick” hack - but please do report back to us us any bugs you’ll find.

Finally here’s the changelog.

Enjoy! Christoph Kuhn, Tomas Pospisek
